Mission The mission of the Institute for Neotropical Conservation is to conserve the biological diversity and cultural heritage of the new world tropics. Created by a consortium of scientists, educators and conservation professionals, the Institute advances the ecological health of marine and terrestrial ecosystems and promotes the economic sustainability of parks, protected areas and the human communities that depend upon them. Methodology The operational model developed by the Institute of Neotropical Conservation integrates the social and natural sciences into a not-for-profit research and technical assistance program for wildlife management and rescue, park and protected areas planning, sustainable development and ecotourism. The Institute's highly respected scientists are experts in their respective fields.
